Nordic Walking Course
14 August 2010Nordic Walking UK holds training courses across the UK and can help those from all backgrounds become qualified Nordic Walking Instructors.
They have worked with over 65 PCTs, Local Councils and Activity promotion teams and can also provide advice and support for those looking to establish sustainable Nordic walking programmes.
The course in Norwich will be held at:
Bannatynes Health Club Northside Road Thorpe St Andrew Norwich NR7 0HT
It will be on:
14th and 15th August from 9am – 6pm both days
Two levels of training can be incorporated:
1. Nordic and Fitness walking Instructor for those with fitness qualifications
2. Community Instructors for those without who can work as assistants to the above
Those without fitness qualifications who would like to become full Instructors can also take an on line course that covers the required Anatomy, Physiology and principles of exercise. This allows them to then attend the full 2 day practical module.
We also offer walk leader training for those that simply wish to plan and lead safe Nordic walks (usually volunteers)
