Active Norfolk publish 2023-2024 Impact Report

Active Norfolk are proud to share our latest annual Active Norfolk Impact Report, covering the year 2023/24.

This report is a testament to our commitment to ‘Getting Norfolk Moving’. It showcases stories and videos that highlight our strategic priorities in action.

The report showcases the breadth and depth of work taking place to support more of Norfolk’s residents to be more physically active.  It also highlights the commitment of our partners and stakeholders to working together to create an active Norfolk for everyone’s health and wellbeing.

What results can be found in the Impact Report 2023-2024?

A message from our Director, Eve Dewsnap

Some of our highlight in the last financial year include:

  • As we approach the final year of the Holiday Activity & Food funding, we reflect on the positive impact the Big Norfolk Holiday Fun programme has had on over 13,000 children and young people since 2021.
  • The Opening Schools Facilities programme has enabled 45 schools to broaden community use of their facilities.
  • In its first year of operation, the Active NoW exercise referral programme has received over 4000 referrals for people with long term conditions who would benefit from being more active.
  • Our locality approach remains a cornerstone of our strategy, effectively identifying local needs, fostering local connections, and directing investment where it’s most needed.
